Before we get into that issue there is a question I would like to ask you.

”Have you ever been to a reception and found that at least one of the many gifts have been duplicated?”

One wedding shower my wife and I went to showed the bridal couple had been given a toaster by three guests. Although two of the toasters were part of a kitchen set with other pots and pans etc.Yes there was some laughter and some humour to cover up the embarrassment but also some disappointment as well. Who decides which gift is returned to the store (if bought locally) or which gift is put away to await a breakage of the first one being used. The wedding day is meant to be a really special day in someone’s life! Would it right to put them through that extra embarrassment and trouble?

Perhaps to prevent this happening with our gift maybe we look at it in a different way?

How do we find a truly unique gift that will really be special to the recipient?

First of all, your present has to say you have spent some time searching for something that says you think your friend, family member or colleague is special. That means it should not be found in every store in the neighborhood.

It should be something that has an element of personalization about it. A personalized gift idea is going to be special to them and make them think about you as the giver whenever they see it.

It should be something they can talk about with pride and how their ’special friend’ took the time and trouble to find the unique personalized gift just for them and them alone.

There are a lot of unique gift ideas on the market but we need to ask some questions.

* Can you really say the gift you are about to buy someone is truly unique? * Would someone automatically think you had gone to some trouble to find something different to everyone else? * Is it personalized in some way to say that it was bought for that person alone rather than a unwanted gift being reused? * Will the gift last longer than a bouquet of flowers or the bottle of wine that is here today and gone tomorrow? * Is it something that even the person who seems to have everything doesn’t have?

Can you really say the gift idea is totally unique in some way? When you stop to think about it very few gift ideas meet all the above criteria.

Ron Thomson as the developer of BeRomantic.com had to struggle to continually research and find romantic gifts for couples worldwide. In the end he found one perfect gift idea almost on his own doorstep and helped bring it to an international market. “When I first saw the concept of helping someone become a Lord or Lady I thought it was fantastic and bought the company.” Over the last four years it has been developed with a much better presentation package and a completely revised new Laird of Jura Handbook. Many recipients of this unique novelty gift idea have so loved the gift package they have since become customers buying for other friends. What better recommendation can any gift idea have?
