Recently, this style of photography has become more popular.Photojournalism is telling a story with photos.Therefore, the photographer with this style will strive to convey the series of events during the day through photography.This style of photography is far less formal, and while the photographer will likely capture key moments common to all weddings, he or she will not intercede to stage photos to ensure that everyone has their picture taken. The photo-journalistic photographer will not generally pose his or her subjects, nor will he or she keep track of who has or has not been photographed.This is a less predictable style, but it therefore allows for more spontaneity and movement in the pictures.

“Illustrative,” “Contemporary,” or “Fashion” Photography
This final style is less common and more abstract in meaning. This style differs from traditional photography because groups are not gathered and arranged in formal poses; however, it differs from photo-journalistic photography because the photographer does intercede with lighting and grouping to take pictures that are not candid. However, unlike the spontaneity of the photo-journalistic style, this style does involve intentional composition and lighting design. The main quality of this style of photography is the prominence of the photographer’s artistic aesthetic; this type of photo shoot can be a unique experience, but the photos will have a good dose of the photographer’s own point of view.This style can also be time-consuming and take the party away from the guests.
